Hello & welcome! My name is Tressa Bergsma, a local homeschool mom of four: Brooke age 6, Atlas age 4, Blair age 2, & Zoey age 1.
I am setting up cost-effective playgroups and classes here in Blaine. I've observed a significant demand for a space where homeschooled children can form a community and learn through play.
These classes are available to everyone, with a particular focus on the local homeschooling community, as long as we maintain a happy, safe environment. Our goal is to foster our children's connection with nature and one another, cultivating friendships and community through play-based learning.
Class Details:
Toddler Group Ages 1-3
Monday @ 9:30 am
Approximately 2 hrs long
$6 per child - pay with card or cash upon arrival
Location Changes, be sure to check the schedule!
Class Structure -
Unstructured play with activities and/or projects that children can choose to engage in freely. Midway through the class, we will have a snack break, during which I will read a couple of books to the kids. We will subsequently resume unstructured play until they are ready to go.
In every class, I will provide activities like paints, a mud and water table, balls, and more for them to enjoy. The objectives of these classes are for children to learn by playing with one another and their environment, utilizing their imaginations, and developing relationship skills.

Midway through class, we will have a snack break, during which I will read a couple of books to the kids.
We will subsequently offer an activity and/or project that children are encouraged to participate in together (though they are welcome to branch off if they'd prefer). Once done, we will resume unstructured play until they are ready to go.
